Bloodmoney Film

Some people might wonder why I have not done much blogging over the last year or so, some might actually be happy about it. I have been working on a documentary film on abortion and that has taken up a great amount of my time and energy. We are in the final stages right now and hope to have it complete in the next month. Yesterday we released the trailer for the film, which is called "Bloodmoney: The Business of Abortion". Please take a look and I would be interested in any thoughts you might have.

My hopes are up this film will have national distribution. Based on what I saw in your trailer, the film needs to be seen by everyone. I would suggest sending a link to the trailer to every pro-life blogger you can find. The power of the internet is mind boggling.

It is time to everyone know the reality of abortion: A lot of women in Lima - PerĂș, goes to abort, not knowing what is happening inside them, so when they see images of their babies, almost all changes their mind.
I am with you David,

To add credibility to the film's trailer, I would suggest including the names of the people speaking and the source of their knowledge/experience about this evil industry.

Hi, I'm a member of 40 Days for Life and I've been talking with some of the other members and no one has heard of the documentary. I've known about it for a few months now and still can't figure out if it's been released yet. The movie "Bella" started out small but because to many pro-lifers got the word out, it's been a huge success (well, that and winning the Toronto Film Festival People's Choice award). Even if it hasn't been released yet, NOW is the time to start sending out press releases and contacting pro-life organizations...even Focus on the Family! I don't want this film to just be a small blip on the radar like so many other pro-life films!

Judging from the response you are getting from Spanish speaking countries, we hope that the film will be dubbed into Spanish as well.

The abortion business in Spain unfortunately is doing very well at the moment... with the government's support!

The film is now complete. It is being reviewed by a few people in the film industry to see if they are willing to help us secure distribution.
While a Spanish version has not been done at this point, we do plan on it

Hi David - thank you so much for your work - I am very excited to see this film!!
- only one comment, and it's really just a personal preference, but I felt in the trailer that the reverb on the voices could be a little distracting at times, and it was a bit difficult to make out what some people were saying (I don't know if that's intentional or not).
That's pretty much it. Can't wait to see it!

We are trying our best to get the DVD out, but keep running into problems with creating a Master copy for duplication.

I am the president of the Voice for Life club at Wheaton College and we want to show your film. I was wondering if I can get some sources to back up some of the more controversial statements put forth in the film (for instance, about racial discrimination still occurring in the industry, the prevalence of unsterile abortions, Planned Parenthood offering the most unreliable forms of contraception and raising costs of abortions unnecessarily, etc.)...I am anticipating many people contesting these claims and the club having nothing to back your film up. Can you direct me to reliable sources for these claims?

Oh, and my email is:

if you want to contact me. I don't think the club information has been updated on the school's website yet.
